Dr. J.B. Callahan Neighborhood Community Center

This free family-friendly event is open to the public and will brings together healthcare providers, LGBTQ+ community leaders, and allies with resource and information designed to build understanding and promote a culture of health and wellness for all.

It will feature dynamic workshops that address the health disparities in the LGBTQ+, Black/African-American, and Latino/a/x communities and seek to provide potential solutions to these lingering challenges.

We received wonderful feedback from last year’s Wepa! Health and Wellness Fair and we promise to live up to and exceed your expectations!

There will be plenty of music, games, zumba lessons, and informative workshops!

Free, rapid, and confidential HIV testing and PrEP resources will be onsite.

Act Against AIDS

Act Against AIDS (AAA) is an initiative launched by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the White House to combat complacency about HIV and AIDS in the United States. Launched in 2009, Act Against AIDS focuses on raising awareness among all Americans and reducing the risk of infection among the hardest-hit populations – gay and bisexual men, African Americans, Latinos, and other communities at increased risk.

Florida Deparment of Health: Orange County

The Florida Department of Health in Orange County (DOH-Orange) is one of 67 Public Health Departments under the governance of the integrated Florida Department of Health (DOH). Although DOH-Orange is a state agency, it maintains a very strong partnership with Orange County Government. DOH-Orange is responsible for protecting, promoting and improving the health of the county’s 1.2 million residents and over 59 million annual visitors.

Talk Test Treat Central Florida

The Talk Test Treat Central Florida initiative, believes that together we can get talking, get tested, and get treated. Whether living well with HIV, or working to prevent it, everyone can thrive!

Hope & Help

Hope & Help has served the Central Florida region’s health and wellness needs for 30 years, focusing on lowering HIV/STD rates, health education, and affordable medical care services.

PrePare

PrePare a program of Aspire Health Partners is a Federally Funded Grant focused on HIV/AIDS/Hep A/B Prevention for YMSM 18-34 years of age minorities of Hispanic/Latino and Black/African American backgrounds. PrePare provides quality prevention services that are Peer based and offers linkages to HIV prevention medication and counseling services.

Following the tragedy on June 12, 2016, the Orlando United Assistance Center (OUAC) was established on July 11, 2016 to meet the needs of individuals impacted by the Pulse tragedy.
